. . .is a contemporary romantic fantasy fiction built on a dream. Dreams which take Charlotte on a journey as she travels in Andalucia in southern Spain and Portugal.
In this debut fiction fantasy - ORANGES: A Journey reflects Marsh's love of adventure, travel and what she calls 'sunshine lands'.
In the cold and damp of a British winter, young Charlotte is fascinated by the orange that she holds in her hands.
Falling asleep, her dreams take her into the future where with her friend Daisy they find themselves in Portugal where a handsome Portuguese stranger captures Charlotte's heart. After their escapades in the hills near Obidos, Charlotte’s dreams eventually take her into the coastal areas and interior of Andalucía in the winter sunshine of southern Spain.
The writer weaves into the story detailed descriptions of the Estremadura region of Portugal and the interior of Andalucía which bring to life the sights and sounds of the Iberian Peninsula as Charlotte and Daisy live life to the full when they travel in Spain and Portugal.
This contemporary fiction fantasy - ORANGES A Journey - with a hint of romance is my debut fiction book. Of course, I had to set it in two of my favourite European countries - Spain and Portugal - using real settings and experiences to tell Charlotte's story , which is built on a dream.
You may find that a map will help you to follow the exploits of Charlotte and her friend Daisy. . .
